Who We Are

Mission & History

Aging, Disability, & Transit Services (ADTS) has served older adults, individuals with disabilities, and their caregivers across Rockingham County for over 50 years. Our mission is to enhance the quality of life for individuals by empowering them to achieve optimum health and well-being, independence, and participation in the community. We are dedicated to assisting Rockingham County residents with information, opportunities and services that promote and enhance quality of life.

We accomplish our mission through an umbrella of community-based services that includes In-Home Aide Support; Senior Nutrition Programs including Meals on Wheels and Congregate Nutrition; Adult Day Health and Day Care Services; Case Management; Non-Emergency Medical Transportation and Deviated Fixed-Route Transportation Services; and a range of volunteer and Family Caregiver Support Services.
